A 9-year-old single cask from Arran bottled by North Star as part of Cask Series 17.
This was distilled October 2012 and bottled October 2021 as a 9-year-old. Matured in a refill barrel and then finished in an Oloroso sherry barrique that yielded 210 bottles at 51.8%.

Official Tasting Notes:
Nose: Toasted white bread & salted toffee butter.
Palate: Caramelised pecans, molasses & white coffee.
Finish: Fresh fruit & some lemon marmalade.
The Arran distillery, on the northern end of the Isle Of Arran, began production in 1995 and is held as a success story of "modern" distilleries. Arran's newmake presents light cereal notes and a distinctive citric note, which pairs well with an eclectic array of cask maturation.
North Star have quickly become one of The Oak Barrel's favourite independent bottlers.
