Maker's Mark Cask Strength is what happens when a comfort whisky gets to go all out. At standard proofs, Maker's mark is easy drinking, a little on the sweeter, smoother side, and an absolute classic, but at 54.75%, it gets to spread its wings and develops a much fuller character. Butterscotch & vanilla are well defined on the front of the palate, developing into a long finish oozing oak spice, and that classic Maker's mellowness. This bottling is Batch 23-06, bottled at 54.75%
