A sherry cask finished version of Laphroaig's famed 10-year-old which is also bottled at the very pleasing 48%.
After maturing in a mixture of refill sherry and ex-bourbon casks, the finishing barrels are European oak ex-oloroso sherry which bring out a sweetness and honey-smoked meats, maple syrup flavour in Laphroaig's typically robust, medicinal, smoky whisky.
