Infrequent Flyers is part of the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, which was established in 2018. Walker, son of Billy Walker (GlenDronach/BenRiach-now-GlenAllachie), has over two decades of working around Scotch whisky in various capacities.

The name Infrequent Flyers refers to the cask selection process and Alistair’s penchant for discovering and introducing excellent single casks from distilleries not often experienced as single malts. These includes malts earmarked for blended and sometimes owned by bigger companies who have not released them regularly or consistently to the market.

Glen Spey is a Diageo-owned distillery that is rarely released as a single malt. One of the smallest, in terms of capacity, in Diageo's portfolio, Glen Spey is a key ingredient in a number of blends and has a new make spirit that is nutty and oily.
