While some of there core range my appear a little old(Going for over 40 years) there Barrel Aged Series is very interesting.

SIERRA NEVADA TRIP IN THE WOODS: VINTAGE BIGFOOT BARLEY WINE

A combination of one-, two-, and three-year Kentucky bourbon barrel-aged Bigfoot. Hop bitterness mellows considerably, allowing the malt character to shine. Notes of raisin, burnt sugar and dark fruit come forward with distinct oak and vanilla aromas.

Ten years ago, we first brewed Torpedo Extra IPA. To celebrate, we cellared away a fresh batch in bourbon barrels before recharging it in our signature Hop Torpedo. The result: bold, fruity hop flavor with notes of rich bourbon and vanilla. Here’s to ten years strong.

SIERRA NEVADA TRIP IN THE WOODS: VISION OF SUGAR PLUMS BELGIAN STRONG ALE

A Belgian-inspired blend of Dubbel, Quad, and a splash of Bigfoot Barleywine-Style Ale— aged in spent red wine, brandy and bourbon casks.  A late addition of plums accents the fruity esters, while rich flavors of caramel, toasted sugar and dark fruit precede a lasting delicious finish

SIERRA NEVADA TRIP IN THE WOODS OVILA ABBEY ALE 

Silky smooth and full of flavor, this beer is a blend of our Barrel-Aged Ovila Abbey Dubbel and Barrel-Aged Ovila Abbey Brown Ale with Mandarins and Cocoa. With a deep mahogany color, the beer is rich with flavors of molasses and brown sugar with a hint of orange and a distinct dried fruit character from a year in brandy barrels.

SIERRA NEVADA TRIP IN THE WOODS: TEQUILA-BARREL-AGED OTRA VEZ

We got our hands on some Reposado Tequila oak barrels and then aged our new Otra Vez ® Gose with Lime and Agave. This Trip in the Woods starts out tart yet juicy, with hints of lime. For the finish? The unmistakable silkiness of a classic Reposado.
