New From NZ's Behemoth... Or Chur

Posted by Ian Chainey on 29th Nov 2019

Over the last four plus years Behemoth (they trade under the name Chur in Aus) has made around 80 beers; many of those having been small batch, one-offs.

Behemoth always loves trying new things and making bigger tasting beers. Life is too short to take seriously so the only thing they, the Behemoth family, take seriously is bigger tasting beers.

Beers that are big, on flavour and fun, and creative, that is shown through our branding and mascot's, Churly, varied attire.

CHUR SO JUICY RIGHT MEOW

Big, bold, brash and pretty hoppy meow. Get one right meow, before it all runs out, meow. It is much hoppier than a god dam litre of cola. That's for sure!

CHUR BORN TO HOP

Restrained tropical citrus and pine aroma in a golden amber pour. Hop forward balance with a big fruity body and sustained bitter finish is spot on for style (West Coast IPA).

CHUR GO LOCAL SPORTS TEAM HAZY GRAPEFRUIT DOUBLE IPA

Text: This big boy pours a nice golden amber with a thick white head. Not as hazy as it's hazy competitors, but winning with just the right amount of grapefruit, stone fruit and citrus notes on top of the hops and bitterness.

CHUR HAZY HOP BUDDIES #3 - RIGGS AND MURTAUGH

Galaxy with its dank citrus, peach and passionfruit and Motueka with its orange, lime and spice. You won't be saying "I am getting to old for this sh%t" after drinking this
