Introducing Quakers Hat Brewing

Citizens,

In these unusual times it is even more important to support your local businesses. Quakers Hat only started up last year and are making some very solid brews.

Quakers Hat Brewing

When a father and two sons started home brewing beer down in Quakers Hat Bay, none of them thought they would be doing it for a living a few years later. Throwing caution to the wind they decided to clear out the storage space of the Father’s furniture workshop in Manly Vale and squeeze in a thousand litre brewery. Since then Quakers Hat Brewing has been releasing delicious takes on classic beers as well some new and inventive styles.

Quakers Hat Red Eye Ipa

This is a dark, malty brew coupled with big hop flavours reminiscent of blackberry and tropical fruits. As the name suggests it pours a deep red colour. The rye kicks up some spicy notes which meld nicely with the malt backbone and fruity hop profile.

Quakers Hat Saison

This Saison pours a very pale straw colour. Carbonation is very high, which compliments the complex fruity flavours presented. This is very much a yeast driven beer and this is evident with flavours of banana and spice, which is balanced out with a citrus back end.

Quakers Hat Kolsch

A classic German style ale that marries a light malt body with subtle hop flavour, offering up slight flavours of honey and lemon on the back end. It pours a straw colour and has a dry to medium body. Soft carbonation makes this beer very drinkable and refreshing.

Quakers Hat Pale Ale

This American style pale ale combines a strong malt body with selected hops from Australia, New Zealand and America. The result is a fruity, zesty ale with earthy undertones. A clean, dry body keeps this beer nice and smashable, making it great for any time of year.
