Woodford Reserve, sponsor of the Kentucky Derby, has come out with their latest yearly release commemorating the 'The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports’. The 2023 release features art by local Kentucky artist Jaime Corum, depicting the victory of the racehorse, Secretariat, in 1973, marking the 50 year anniversary of one of the greatest moments in the history of the prestigious race.
More importantly to those who dont closely follow American sports history, this batch brings the decadence and smoothness Woodford is known and loved for, the mellow, easy going flavours reminiscent of ones first time trying a good, or nostalgic bourbon.

Nose: Werthers Originals milkshake, empty humidor, dried fruit garnish
Palate: Classic Woodford, mellow allspice, caramel and red apple, soft velvet texture with warmth on the back of the palate
Finish: The melted ice cream at the bottom of the bowl, autumn fruits and lingering sweetness
