The Luna 1.1 highlights Waterford's terroir driven spirit, where they have taken regeneratively farmed, biodymanic barley to create a Single Malt that is both esoteric, and excellent. This results in a whisky that is pleasantly oily, with a bright grain spice note, which carries through into a long, delicate finish. 50% abv.

Founded in 2014 by Mark Reynier, of Bruichladdich fame, Waterford is a progressive Irish distillery with a focus of grain driven spirits, highlighting terroir, high quality barley, and experienced distillation. They began distillation in 2016 out of a retired Guinness brewery, and have grown their repetoire to include many single farm expressions, and a Cuvée concept series inspired by the methods of French wine regions.
