It’s not that funky, and fearless could is in the eye of the winemaker, but it is an expressive and delightful chenin, leaning deeply into the tonic water fruity-bitterness and saline elements that great chenin can deliver. Scents of sea spray, almond, green apple, tonic water, the palate delivering a more quinine-focused flavour profile with a briny acid trill and faintest green almond characters. Juicy, just a little loose knit over more precision, but pleasing, refreshing and good all up. 91pts."
