A 1990 single cask from the Batch 19 releases from GlenDronach. Drawn from PX sherry butt #7423 as a 31-year-old. Distilled 21/03/1990, bottled 2021 at 56.9% with 616 bottles.

GlenDronach's tasting notes:
Colour: Darkest Mahogany
Nose: Treacle and liquorice root with roasted coffee, blueberry preserve, sultana and raisin.
Taste: Raisin oil and bramble fruit, with cocoa dusted plum, and velvety espresso coffee.
Oak Barrel Tasting Notes:
"Quite the polarising GlenDronach! This release displayed prominent sulphur notes from the cask influence, that split the crowd here at The Oak Barrel during a tasting event. Those with sulphur sensitivity (this comes down to genetics) did not enjoy the dram, detecting little on the nose and palate beyond the prominent sulphur note. Over half the room, however, (those lacking the sulfur sensitivity gene) were swept away in earthy, dark fruit and toffee notes. Certainly a wonderful test for sulphur sensitivity!"
