The classic Lark single malt - a touchstone of the Australian whisky industry.
Arguably the most famous name in Australian whisky, Lark was founded in 1992 by Bill and Lyn Lark, the first couple of the modern industry.
Franklin barley is malted at the Cascade Brewery before being brewed and distillery at the Lark Distillery. The malted grain is lightly peated at the distillery, using Lark's own bog-sourced peat, this gives the dram body and structure, rather than smoke. It is matured in 100-litre casks for between five and eight years.
Released at two strengths, this is bottled at 43% to provide a rich, fruity and malty taste.
