A very exciting new release from Grose Vale's Karu distillery - Morita Chipotle Vodka.
Inspired by a love of Meixcan food this is celebrated through the famous Chipotle chilli varieties Meco & Morita.
From the distillers, "This vodka from the mouth of the Devils Wilderness aprovides a little molten moment at first, then holds your attention with zesty lime, floral coriander seed, crisp green capsicum and sweet agave syrup."
Suggested serve with lime soda, but we enjoy it neat and can see how this fits well in a Bloody Mary...
Oak Barrel thoughts:
A beautiful warm nose of soft chilli spice, herbal, nachos spice, fresh-cut coriander. Palate is creamy, herbal with a finish of bell peppers and gentle ground chilli.
