A deep expression of the 8th Eloquesta Shiraz Petit Verdot to be released. This wine is from another of 5 dry vintages in a row, (2015 to 2018), except we had some cooler weather towards the end.
Nose displays the distinct plummy violets, tobacco, gingerbread, spice.. Palate shows the same but with more creamy berries, green pepper and anise on the length. The acid is strong and holds the structure together, but the ripeness and plump softness in the wine makes this elegant wine even more drinkable now, but will accept 8 – 10 years of aging.
