The latest evolution of Dictador's XO rum. The XO Aurum sees Dictador's signature cane honey, copper alembic stilled spirit aged for up to 35 years in a mixture of Bourbon, Sherry and Port casks, for a signature, smooth & superb rum.
Compared to other XO's from the distillery, the latest edition is similar, albeit with a slightly more developed palate, relying less on the wave of sweetness many Dictador rums have, instead showing off a more complex, developed spirit, with notes of coffee, toasted oak spice & vanilla cream.
Dictador produce many of the worlds finest Colombian aged rums, with a history dating back to the early 1900s, where a precedent for aged, luxury spirits was set. Dictador rums are known for a distinctive smoothness, and aromas of caramel, cocoa, and tobacco that drown the senses.
