An ultra-limited batch of rum from an undisclosed carribean distillery… (its from Cuba, but we can’t say anything more!).
This 44-Year-Old spirit is incredible, from the nutty, chocolate-y nose, all the way through waves of rum soaked, brulee’d fruit and coffee on the palate leading to a nutty, complex, and lingering finish. Oftentimes it is easy to get caught up in the commentary of which distillery & style is best when it comes to Carribean rum, this dram encourages you to ease back into the comfiest chair you’ve got, and just savour the experience for a little while.
