‘A 50/50 blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera.
Liquorice, thyme and oregano, ripe cherries. Fresh wine, but heaps of sandy chewy tannin, marzipan, sweet fruit with amaro bitterness. Bold, but lively, more tannin and nut praline in the finish of good length. Irrepressible. Rustic but clean. A bonus point for being so emphatic and different.’ – 94 points.
