From the Mortlach Distillery found in the central Speyside region comes this delectable malt Scotch Whisky from a single cask (cask ref DL16549). The rich and unpeated whisky was distilled in 2006 and left in a single refill hogshead for more than 16 years, until Douglas Laing bottled it for their Old Particular/Asia Pacific Friendship series, with an outturn of 213 bottles. A wonderfully viscous and honey’d malt with bright apple fruits.
