“This is a cracking Barossa Shiraz from a superb vintage and seriously good value. The colour here is a deep bruised plum and the nose gives us notes of chocolate, spices, smoked meats, dried herbs, plums and chocolate. A sappy, fresh style with good energy. Impressive length, fresh acidity, supple tannins and a lingering finish. The palate sees more plums, black fruits, and white pepper to the fore. Enjoy this now and for the next six to eight years. 92pts.”
