QED Artisan Wine Merchant is a family owned Fine Wine Wholesaler. Our portfolio includes domestic and imported wines from: France, Japan, New Zealand, Portugal and USA. We work with passionate families, who are committed to excellence and their environment. Our focus in on bio-dynamically and organically produced wines. Michael has worked with QED for many years and is an enthusiast for the new era of wine making in Portugal.
The philosophy of these producers is to respect the grapes and the natural environment. Farmed bio-dynamically or organically, the grapes are hand harvested, gently fermented with indigenous yeasts, generally raised in neutral vessels and bottled with fining and very little sulphur. They are passionate about the traditions and heritage of the area they work in.
The Oak Barrel welcomes Michael to our Tasting Room to share his passion and knowledge for all things Portugal!

How to purchase tickets
•To purchase a ticket please add this item to your cart and process at the checkout. Please note, for the in-store tasting there are no physical tickets – your name will be on the door.
•We offer Two VIP-priced tickets per Oak Barrel Enthusiast or Connoisseur membership. VIP members will receive their discount once the ticket is added to the cart.
•If you are an Oak Barrel Enthusiast or Connoisseur and add more than two tickets to your cart, the remaining tickets will be charged at full price.
