A 21-year-old blended Scotch crafter by GlenAllachie Master Blender Bill Walker.
This has a high malt content of which GlenAllachie is a part of. A whisky of rich and rounded texture, sweeter elements are balanced with gnetle peat.
The blend was filled into European and American oak casks and matured for a further year at GlenAllachie to marry together.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Beautifully soft background with heather honey, butterscotch, peat reek and hints of tannins.
Palate: Rich notes of heather honey, butterscotch, orange peel and soft tannins. All in balance with a wonderful presence of peat and smoke.
