“It’s very umami, a really nutty sake-like character about it, along with ginger, mint, preserved lemon and pear. It’s a light wine, but it certainly has gloss and peanutty richness, acidity has something of a spicy bite to it, white peppery texture, and the finish combines salinity and chamomile perfume with some green apple and kombucha tang, and very good length. It’s a difficult wine to describe, and while it may not be for everyone, I really enjoy its distinct personality. 94pts.”
