Sydney Whisky Fair is here for the 15th Anniversary, and what better way to celebrate Whisky Week than to have industry legend, Tim Duckett (of Heartwood and TIB) back in the Oak Barrel tasting room! For those few of you who aren’t aware, Tim has been at the forefront of Australian whisky since the 90s, releasing some of the biggest, boldest and most sought after whisky in the industry via his independent bottling companies, Heartwood and TIB (Tasmanian Independent Bottlers).
Tim’s annual tasting on the Wednesday before Fair has become a much-loved staple of Whisky Week and we’re thrilled to have him back for the 9th year running! Throughout his career, Tim has built a reputation for his generosity, wealth of knowledge and his no-nonsense approach to whisky. He is now, however, also a grumpy old man (his words) and so will this year be presenting his Grumpy Old Man Tour.
