‘Bacchus grape, madeline angevine grape, ortega grape, muller thurgau grape. Some hybrids here. Some skin fermentation, oak and concrete maturation. Made in East Sussex, grapes from there too.
Slippery textured, sour-sweet, leafy/mulchy green herbs, preserved lemon and ginger characters, a very sour, peppery-leafy-nutty finish. Really wild. Tastes like a flat kombucha on its way to fizz with some earthy characters in the mix. Very much of the hybrid varieties, a kind of foxiness. For enthusiasts, held my attention though.’ – 90 points.
