“The Mila Rosso is a blend of Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes from 25 year old vines. Hand picked in small baskets at optimum ripeness the wine is then cold fermented on its skins under strict temperature regulation for 12-14 days. It is then aged in stainless steel tanks and bottled.The Mila Rosso is aged in under ground cellars for over 6 months.Â
Red ruby in colour with a violet reflection. Scents of wild red fruits and cherry. Elegant, fruity, intense, and persistent. On the palate flavours of sun ripened cherries, raspberries, and sweet herbs and spices. The Mila Rosso is a very versatile match to food, It can be paired with roast meats to fish dishes and is great with cheese.”
