A fun little release from Kochi Shuzo, designed for more casual drinking, particularly in hot, humid weather. Sharp overall and full of character, this genshu (undiluted) sake has balances a pleasant umami aspect with notes rockmelon, figs and bruised apple, with a dry finish. Produced using Akebono rice milled to 60% of its original size. As the bottle implies, try it on the rocks! This sake would go great with a cheese & charcuterie board , perfect for entertaining.
