Traditionally when it comes to Whisky pairings, you will see spirits paired with chocolates, or oysters or perhaps charcuterie, avoiding intense flavours. This masterclass hopes to broaden those horizons by showcasing a variety of Nikka Single Malts, Blends and Grains, each paired with a hot sauce from The Fermentalists!
Each pairing will be accompanied by appropriate snack foods, which can be spiced up to your own tastes. Keep in mind, not all the hot sauces we will be tasting will be too spicy! We aren’t looking to singe tongues, instead it will be an excellent opportunity to learn how to look after your palette, and how best to bring out the flavours in both your whisky and your food!
