“Strap in. In that zone between beautiful salty-sea spray and savoury nuttiness and the high, fragrant acetone floral character that sometimes flor can push into a wine. It’s zingy and tart to taste, indeed, riesling on steroids is the feel, and in that statement you’d say that for some it will be too much; polarising. It’s a breathy sherry-like zone we’re in, but imagine sherry with more acidity and perceived weight. Drank super cold with some white wine poached fish (I used this wine) and things made more sense.”
