“Pale, slightly funky edge, fennel, redcurrant, pomegranate, tangerine. It’s light, chalky in texture, bright acidity, a distinct blood orange/tangerine sort of flavour, kind of juicy but really quite tight. I love the dry crunch of tannin on its long finish. It’s a textbook rosé, Provence meets Barossa, and kind of intellectual in a way, though not at the expense of supreme drinkability. I’m kind of 94.5 points on it, if that makes any sense. Regardless, it’s outstanding. 95pts.”
