Featuring peat cut from Lark’s own peat bog in Tasmania, this new addition to the Lark’s core range brings a new style to the peated whisky table. With a soft, inland peat smokiness, this twice peat smoked malt is refreshingly elegant, playing nicely with Lark’s already bold style.
Official Tasting Notes:
Nose: Earthy peat intertwined with a delicate floral character and sea spray
Palate: Floral peat develops amongst dark chocolate and oyster shell, with hints of coffee and marmalade
Finish: Ginger snap biscuit, sea spray and subtle ash
Arguably the most famous name in Australian whisky, Lark was founded in 1992 by Bill and Lyn Lark, the first couple of the modern industry. It is now a publicly-listed company.
