“Really enjoyable, fresher expression of sangiovese here. Crisp edges, mouth-watering acidity, lots of rose hip tea and cranberry tang, a good sprinkle of white pepper and mixed, warm brown spice and a little mintiness to boot. Rolls long, tannins feel fine and tighten the wine nicely, there’s lots of detail and character with each sip. A kind of silkiness too but for that cranberry tang of acid. Super drink. 93 pts.”
