Inner Circle Green Spot Navy Strength

The navy strength overproof ‘Green Spot’ rum from the famous Inner Circle Australian label.

Distilled through pot stills and matured for over two years in vats, the Green Spot is bottled at the navy grade of 57.2%.

The nose is clean and sweet, with a palate of tropical fruits, particularly banana and pineapple. Touch of dry leaves on the finish.

The Inner Circle label first appeared as a product of CSR – the Australian Colonial Sugar Refinery. It was developed as a premium expression for employees and clients and was produced at CSR’s Pyrmont distillery in Sydney until its closure in 1986. Brand ownership and the production of the rum transferred into international hands and while remaining on the market, Inner Circle was produced in Fiji until 2012. The brand was then purchased by Vok Beverages, owners of the Beenleigh distillery in Queensland – which is where the rum is now produced.

In 2019, the series underwent a redesign and repackage, but the rums remained the same.
