Nose: An elegant wine with tremendous levels of concentration and flavour ripe raspberries, dark red berries, warm cedar with a hint of vanilla and a spicy, peppery undertone.
Palate:Â A silky, glossy palate. Beautiful tannins with a delightful, silky, lingering finish.
Winemaking:Â The grapes are handpicked from dry grown, low yielding vines planted in 1905. Naturally fermented in open 500L vats, gently hand plunged each day. The wine is matured in new French oak Hogsheads for 24 months.”
