he Baltic Porter is a beer style that you don’t really see that often, but if you do see one you probably want to try it as they are usually very tasty. The style is an offshoot of the normal porter, a dark malty beer. Koffie and Toffee pretty much sums up the flavours you are going to get.
As the beer progresses this sweetness dries out and you get more of the roasted malt character with hints of really dark chocolate and coffee. Â This lasts through to the end with some bitterness from Hallertau Blanc and Fox hops, that add to some sharp roasty malt flavours to the pleasant slightly spicy, tingly sweet finish.
