The seventh batch of TBWC’s iconic Irish Single Malt is a 29 Year Old Single Malt, a release of just 377 bottles at 50.2% abv.
This single malt hails from an undisclosed Irish distillery (a favourite of Boutique-y) and is finished in a selection of rum barrels.
Offical Notes:
Nose: Rich and complex. Stewed apples, rum and raisin, tropical fruits: melon, kiwifruit, dates, and muscovado sugar.
Palate: Rich and deliciously salivating! This is fruity beyond belief! Stewed apples spiced with clove, melon, kiwifruit. Complex!
That Boutique-y Whisky Company have bottled most distilleries in Scotland and are increasingly expanding to include whiskies from around the world. Their limited edition labels are designed by Emily Chappell and reference interesting elements (or in-jokes) about the distillery.
Boutique-y bottle their batches, which can be single cask or a number of casks, at the strength they deem the whisky is most enjoyable at.
