The first Backwoods single malt release featuring spirit aged in American oak, ex-Australian corn whiskey casks. Aged for 4+ years, this spirit is lighter than other releases from this distillery, with an elegant, floral character, balanced with vanilla spice. Bottled at 46%.

Backwoods distillery in Yackandandah was founded in 2017 with the view to creating spirits that speak to the climate and flavours of the Victorian high country. They source their local grains from Voyager in the Riverina region and double distill through a 1,250 litre still built by Burns Welding in Griffith.
