Inspired by the poetic works of Robert Burns, this release from Arran is designed to be light and elegant. Some would call it an aperitif whisky, we prefer the term “Breakfast Whisky”. One of our favourite value picks from Arran, this malt shows of the distillery’s spirit well, but supports it with a vibrant bouquet of orchard fruit, with a creme brulee note that is perfectly balanced.

Nose: Fresh vanilla and cinnamon
Palate: Sweet & creamy with notes of honey, toffee-glazed pecans and fresh summer fruits.
Finish: Sweetness, Apple, Citrus.
The Arran distillery, on the northern end of the Isle Of Arran, began production in 1995 and is held as a success story of “modern” distilleries. They’ve a range of age statement, cask finishes and limited editions. In recent years, it has experienced wave after wave of popularity, whilst maintaining a stable price.
