Anything But Scotch! SMWS World Whisky Masterclass (Wednesday 18th September)

From Taiwan to Texas and everywhere in between, the Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottle so much more than just Scotch in their quest to explore flavour around the world. Working directly with distilleries to explore cask strength, single cask, full-flavoured rarities for over 40 years now, we’re taking a night ahead of the Oak Barrel Whisky Fair to explore the complexities of incredible malts and other styles pioneered by the Society. Hosted by SMWS ambassador and chairman Andrew Derbidge, this will be a rare deep-dive into some of the best non-Scotch the Society has to offer.

For those of you not familiar with the SMWS, or are yet to try any of their incredible bottlings, this will be a fantastic opportunity to become familiar with their whiskies (and other spirits!) in the leadup to this year’s Whisky Fair! If you are already an SMWS member, make sure to wear your pin on the night!
