An iconic rye whiskey that has its roots in New Orleans and is now distilled by Buffalo Trace.
The history of this expression dates back to the 1800s, when the Sazerac Coffee House on Royal street would serve up rye whisky based mixers, one of which would become the Sazerac cocktail.
Whilst this whiskey has become synonymous with high-end cocktails, it is also a fabulous expression of the style neat – lots of anise, pepper and clove with intermingling spices, pepper and citrus
