A limited release of distilled 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Bathurst region made into a brandy-based liqueur by Stone Pine.
The grapes were pot-distilled and aged for six years in a French-oak barrique. They were ten mixed with red grape juice and brought to 30%.
The result is a grape-forward, red rich drink that's dry and wine-y on the nose and vibrant and sweet on the palate. Demands cheese board pairing.
