Drawing from both traditional practices and modern flavour profiles, the Ramsbury Single Estate Gin is distilled at the estate from which it takes is name in England's Wiltshire.
The estate itself is based around farming and sustainability. This gin is made from Horatio wheat grown on the estate and spend grain is used to feed the cattle.
Botanicals in the gin include quince from the estate, plus juniper, cinnamon, liquorice, oris root, dried lemon peel, dried orange peel, coriander and angelica.
This is a sublte, but complex gin, a very pretty and likable expression that is worth taking your time with.
Nose: Juniper gently infused with the grassy and fruity tones of our quince. Lighter citrus notes, coupled with a woody fragrance from the angelica, further complemented by the spices of cinnamon all to create a balanced and complex aroma.
Palate: Floral tones and crisp quince fades into more savoury juniper, with a refreshing finish and a touch of spice. A modern twist on a classic London dry, Ramsbury Single Estate Gin is simply charming in its character.
