“Paying our respects to the supply vessel the Stirling Castle which ran aground on Swan Reef in 1836 after topping up stocks of Hodgson’s Pale Ale for export among other supplies in Tasmania and Sydney. Some of the crew credit their survival to a salvaged barrel of Hodgson’s IPA.”
