This single grain scotch whisky was distilled over 3 decades ago at the North British distillery way back in November 1989! Since then it has snuggled softly into a refill ex-Bourbon cask. Only 168 bottles form the cask!

Expect notes of white chocolate, biscotti, golden rum, zingy lime, creme caramel, coconut wafers, oak spice and dunnage warehouse.

Bottled at cask strength of 50.1% ABV.

North British in the suburbs of Edinburgh was built in 1887 is one of Scotland’s biggest grain distilleries. It is currently part owned by Diageo and Edrington and it’s spirit goes into a plethora of blends.

The Whisky Cellar was founded by Keith Bonnington, a Keeper Of The Quaich, and is based out of Edinburgh. Before branching out on his own, Bonnington spend almost two decades in the Scotch industry with 11 years at Edrington working with Macallan, Highland Park and Glenrothes. Bottling single casks batch by batch, they pull from a wide variety of well known distilleries, with a style that leans toward the richer side.
