Koné, which means “something precious”, is only produced in the best vintages.
Koné is an impetuous wine showing prominent acidity and elegant tannins.
Structurally similar to the other Montepulciano-Sangiovese blend, Koné develops a bit more of a ballsy body, thanks to the 18 months of aging sur lie in French oak barrels. Maraschino cherries along with some darker notes like leather, chocolate and well-balanced spices intense both on the nose and in the mouth.
