“Fermented in oak puncheons, four months on lees. From a cold, late season and displaying some of the florals, spice and depth associated with long hang time on the vine, this riesling carries impressive flavour and intensity. The essence of cool-climate riesling – lime, lemon, green apple, grapefruit – is joined by gentle florals and a delicious spiciness. Clean-cut acidity gives way to a warm unctuousness across the middle palate. Assured of a bright future. 95pts.”

“I’ve lost the press release, so can’t tell you much about the wine, aside from telling you it’s really good. Quite some aromatics here, and with its rosewater, lychee and musky perfume, smells much like a Gewürztraminer. It’s juicy but fresh and bright, again that lychee thing, but cut with citrus and green mango, fine chalky texture is a highlight, a slight savoury character, and a long cool finish. Such a distinctive Riesling, offering abundant character and delicious ease of drinking. 94pts.”
