We’re back again for another instalment of The Oak Barrel’s Sydney Whisky Fair! This year will be our 16th year running Sydney’s favourite Whisky event!!
Held at the historic Australia Hall, just upstairs from The Oak Barrel’s Sydney CBD location, this year’s Fair will take place across three sessions on Friday 26th – Saturday 27th September.
SESSION TIMES:
1 Friday Evening : 5:30pm – 9:00pm
2 Saturday Afternoon : 1:00pm – 4:30pm
3 Saturday Evening : 5:30pm – 9:00pm
The Sydney Whisky Fair will have almost 200 whiskies on show from Australia, Scotland and around the world, with an emphasis on small batch, single cask, rare, interesting and new release expressions.
Your ticket price includes entry to the event, access to all samples during the day (strict RSA practices will be observed), a commemorative glass to take home and a food voucher for catering to be redeemed on the day.
Once again we will be running an Old & Rare bar, with some incredible whiskies on pour at cost price.

EXCLUSIVE BOTTLINGS
This Year we have collaborated with Thomson Whisky from New Zealand, and Highwayman from Byron Bay, to bring you two exclusive, Sydney Whisky Fair bottlings. The Port Cask Finish from Thomson is a single cask, Port Barrel finish, that we tried earlier in the year.
The Highwayman Hebridean Dream is a special, small batch release from Dan Woolley, using HWM Whisky aged in an ex-Oloroso cask, Peated HWM Whisky aged in an ex-Mexican Sherry barrel, married together and finished in a Bourbon cask recoopered with Virgin American Oak heads!
