Mijan Patterson and Livia Maiorana
“Pinot Noir from Pemberton.
Bass notes with a bit of treble. This wine is well structured and formed, the fruit ripe and a bit jellied – in a good way – but with most of the wine sitting back in the palate, where woodsmoke and general reduction characters lie. It’s not in your face about it, but this has good complexity. It drinks well, especially after it’s been allowed to breathe. A quick double-decant and you’re away. 91pts.”4
