The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks are a flavor-led exploration of fine single malts, bottled in small batches of three to ten casks. Each parcel of bottles shows the variety of styles and flavors found across Scotland, and the differences in angel’s share depending on region. Bottled at a consistent 48% with no added color and no chill-filtration, the Reserve Casks are intended to suit the palates of both novices and experts alike.
A small batch of four refill sherry hogsheads and one sherry butt from Benrinnes Distillery have been used to create this Speyside Single Malt, distilled in 2009 and aged for 12 years. This is a rich, spicy whisky with notes of leather, chocolate and cherry.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Sitting on a soft, worn leather armchair while sipping on a Manhattan – this is all cherries and spice! Sandalwood, clove, cinnamon all invite you to enjoy this dram.
Taste: Chocolate and cherry abound and take on the richness of a black forest gateau topped with almond slivers. Ginger snaps with a cup of coffee balances the sweetness, and only adds to its moreish quality.
Palate: This is a beautifully intense, spicy finish that fades to cherry cola and black peppercorn.
