Nose: Rich and inviting, immediately presenting notes of deep dried fruits like raisins, figs, and sultanas, beautifully intertwined with dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and a warm sherry sweetness. Hints of rich oak and subtle baking spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg are also present.
Palate: Full-bodied, unctuous, and incredibly smooth, coating the mouth with a luxurious texture. Flavours of sticky toffee pudding, rich fruitcake, and dark berries dominate, with a profound sweetness from the Oloroso sherry. This is expertly balanced by a gentle spiciness, notes of polished oak, and hints of espresso or cocoa, creating a complex and indulgent profile.
Finish: Long, warming, and profoundly satisfying. The rich sherried fruit and dark chocolate notes linger beautifully, accompanied by a comforting oak dryness and a persistent, complex spice that gently fades.
