Matured In: 1st Fill Bourbon Barrels
The first few editions of the 100 Proof Collection tended to focus heavily on ex-Sherry barrels, and now as the series hits its stride, we are starting to see a lot more Bourbon casks in the mix! This particular Miltonduff is elegant, and fruity beyond belief, with a soft waxiness that lingers throughout the palate.
Oak Barrel Tasting Notes:
Nose:Â Freshly sliced apple and pears, arrowroot biscuits
Palate:Â Dry wood tannins, fruit without sweetness, well balanced and mild oak spice
Finish:Â Medium, clean, dry with baking spices and a lingering oak influence
Signatory Vintage are one of the veterans of Independently Bottled Scotch Whisky. Founded in 1988 by Andrew and Brian Symington. The name ‘Signatory’ was derived from the initial intention to find a person of suitable standing to sign the labels for bottles drawn from a single cask. They have one of the most well regarded stores of single cask Scotch Whisky in the industry, with a focus on high quality spirit, bottled without the need for Chill Filtration, always at natural colour.

The new 100 Proof Collection has also become exceedingly popular, with high proof malts at affordable prices!
Miltonduff is one of the Chivas Brothers’ distilleries and is currently part of their succesful Ballantines blend. More single malt expressions have been appearing in recent years, with the independent bottlings particularly impressive.
